Moe got themselves in a strong position at reigning premiers Ex-Students. Royce Colgrave’s 6 wickets had the Sharks reduced to 8/97 before the hosts recovered to 170 (Graham 39, Matthews 39). Moe sat 3/92 at stumps following Day 1
B Grade picked up their first win of the campaign with a commanding win at Centrals. Ash Savige (44) & Mark Whitney (40) helped the Lions to 155 before youngsters Aiden Savige 4/22 & Kye Micallef 2/27 combined for 6 wickets to see the Traralgon-based Lions out for 75
C Grade was also a Battle of the Prides between Centrals & Moe. The hosting Lions posted 100 via Moorhouse’s 40 & Foley 23. Frank Manduci took 4 wickets including #250 for Moe CC. Finn 33* & Biggins 31 led the way for the Lions with the bat in a chase that staggered to the line, winning 7 down.
