 B GRADE – MOE vs MORWELL @ Northern Reserve

MOE INNINGS
Moe won the toss and batted first. Jesse Pheeney (10) opened with Randy Straughair and the former was first to be dismissed at 1/25. Jordan Shields (1) & Mustafa Glibanovic (1) fell shortly after. Evan Sheekey (13) added 54 to the total with Straughair before falling at 4/90. Straughair (85) made the most of his lives offered to him with the vast majority of the 127 total at time of dismissal. Geoff Atkinson (24) & Aaron Johnstone (20) made starts as Moe posted 168 all out from 44.5 overs, one ball short of the allotment. Noah Day (4/30 off 8.) & Stephen Bilic (4/22 off 8.5) did the damage for the Tigers

MORWELL INNINGS
Rob Semmler (39) & Josh Seymour (7) saw off the opening attack of Daniel Farmer (1/24 off 5) & Josh Pickering (0/17 off 5) before Aaron Johnstone got the breakthrough of both the opening bats to make it 2/50. Glen Gniel (31*) became the mainstay for the rest of the innings, batting methodically whilst the runs flowed a bit quicker from Craig Giddens (38) & Stephen Bilic (29). Morwell chased down the total comfortably, closing on 6/172 with 9 overs to spare. Johnstone (3/32 off 9) & Geoff Atkinson (2/22 off 8.) were the pick of Moe’s bowlers

C GRADE – MOE VS YALLOURN NORTH @ Racecourse No.2

MOE INNING
Yallourn North won the toss and sent the Lions in. Ibrahim Glibanovic (22) & Chris DeVent (18) got starts and when Ben McCartney (4) was dismissed after them, it was 3/53. Stuie Palmer (19) & Frank Manduci added 59 for the 4th wicket and Michael Mitchell (14) got a start to make it 5/135. Young Aiden Savige (13) also got a start in a 56 run pairing with Manduci. Cooper Walsh made a second ball duck, being dismissed on the last ball of inning. Manduci finished 72* in the Lions total of 7/191 from 40 overs. Sterrick & Ashman took 2 wickets each for the Bombers

YALLOURN NORTH INNING
Andrew Kennedy (4/11 off 8.) & Aiden Savige (2/12 off 6) did the damage early to have the Bombers reeling at 6/23. Ben McCartney bowled well with 0/15 off 8 also. Kym Brown (20*) & Yun (16) got starts before Stuie Palmer wrapped up the inning with 2/6 off 6.4 overs. Yallourn North all out for 66 off 32.4 overs

B Grade travel to Boolarra next week and C Grade will also travel, to Calignee to face CATS
