Milestones – Andrew Philip, Craig Veenman & Noah Kane

Milestones – Andrew Philip, Craig Veenman & Noah Kane

13th March 2026

Each year, the GOAT of Moe usually ticks over a multiple of 1000 in either 1st XI or club runs. Starting at 11,711 club runs, this campaign proves no exception, just a little later than expected.

Although he scored a 69 v Raiders in T20, Andrew’s 147 runs from his first 10 innings in Premier A appeared sub par for his high standards (although other players may take that gratefully).

But the best never stay down for long and Andrew has found form entering the business end of the season with 45* & 64 from his last 2 knocks.

With last round’s score, comes new record territory as Andrew becomes the first player in club history to hit 12,000 runs. TWELVE THOUSAND! 😳

(Now just 80 short of 11,500 First Grade too so you’d expect 12,000 A Grade to be reached next season).

An unbelievable career and just continues to add to the legacy every campaign.

Never change Pud.

🦁 Legend.

Milestone – 2500 Club Runs – Noah Kane

With his first run against Churchill last round, former 1st XI skipper Noah Kane notched up 2500 senior club runs.

Noah has 230 1st XI runs so far this season, including a new high score of 91 against Glengarry in October and now sits 38 short of 2000 1st XI Runs.

The Kane name continues running strong at the club, with plenty of seasons & runs to come.

Well done Arky!

300 Wickets & 250 Catches

A couple of massive milestones for Craig Veenman this season.

In December, Veeno took his 300th Club Wicket and as at now, sits on 310, sits 15th all time on current records.

And then in January, Veeno took his 250th Club Catch, surpassing Rob Sim into 2nd All Time. Sitting on 252, Craig needs just 4 catches to move past club president Paul Kane into top spot. Four weeks plus possible C Grade finals to get it this season.

Congratulations Veeno! 👏

(An all-discipline club legend with 8000+ runs also, 3rd all time).
