Batting first, Moe lost both co-captains (Murphy 4, Straughair 2) to fall to 2/13 early. Youngsters Kye Micallef & Noah Keltie (7) added 35 for the 3rd wicket then Micallef & Shaun Curtis added 53 for the 4th stand.
Micallef (52) reached a half century & Curtis (25) a quarter century before both fell with the score on 101. Quick fire runs (Boswell 10, Edwards 8, J.Keltie 7 & Veenman 7) and wickets took the Lions to 142 all out with 1 over of the allotted 40 remaining.
Wickets were shared around for the Tigers (Shaw 3, Toogood 2, Corbin 2, Calder 2, Speed 1).
After the break, it was a demolition from the Lions bowling attack. Craig Boswell (4/4) & Henry Boothman (3/16) had the Tigers 7 down by the end of their overs with Haydn Edwards (1/4) & Craig Veenman (2/3) wrapping the match up 20 balls later. Mirboo North all out for 28 – Woodall 6 & L.Vanderzam 6* top scored for the visitors.
Moe advance to another Grand Final, looking to go one better this time around.
