U12’s report by coach Clinton Taylor
As the storm clouds cleared, Trafalgar turned it on with fantastic conditions for cricket.
Skipper Blake Polik won the toss and chose to bat. That proved to be a wise decision with all 10 batters seeing out the overs with no wickets lost.
Batting highlights saw Adrian Nardone rock back and clear the ropes over mid wicket for 6. Tatum Young hitting three 4’s in a row was impressive to watch.
Total score 0-66 off the 20 overs.
Blake Savage kicked off the bowling after returning from injury. Tidy bowling was the theme with only 8 wides for the innings.
Wickets were shared between Logan Taylor, Blake Savage, Tyler Goyne and Blake Polik.
Player of the week award: Blake Polik who took his first wicket in cricket and batted his 20 balls unbeaten.
